Fifteen years after “La Sucursal del Cielo”, this project critically revisits my own photojournalistic archive on violence in Caracas to construct new narratives around the gaze, representation, and otherness.

Installation consisting of 34 tourist postcards from the African continent, covered with the faces of their photographers. A symbolic reversal of the gaze that questions colonial imaginaries and the power relations embedded in the representation of the Other.
